On today’s visit we went to the eastern side of the refuge. The Little Patuxent was very high. Everything was green due to the rain that we had this week. A mockingbird posed very patiently in a tree beside Merganser Pond.

It was chilly with beautiful skies today and we explored the southern side of the Refuge. But the wind really started to blow and the temperature decreased even more. Coincidentally as I was offloading my pictures from my camera it even started to snow!
