Vegan Trunk or Treat, Brewing Good Coffee Company, Savage MD
On most weekend I take a trip over to Brewing Good Coffee Company @brewinggoodcoffeeco to have an Unsweetened Iced Chai Latte with Soymilk and a Lavender Blueberry Scone. Today, they were preparing for the Vegan Trunk or Treat. The shop was abuzz with little ones and their families before the event started. If you’re in…
Sideling Hill, Hancock, MD

We took a very short walk at the Patuxent Research Refuge – South Tract. The trails were closed for hunting. The majority of the trees were bare and perfect for photos. Lake Reddington was frozen which made a nice backdrop for the lonely limb sitting on the ice. Patuxent Research Refuge – South Tract, https://www.fws.gov/refuge/patuxent-research,…
Patuxent Research Refuge – North Tract, 2022-12-20
During this visit we explored the “other” side of the refuge. It is about 5 miles southeast of the visitor’s center (map below). On the way to the Cattail Pond Parking lot, there is a stretch of power lines. All of the trails were closed so we had to walk along the street and this…
