On the way to work we ran across the Dwight D. Eisenhower Memorial. I have driven down this street many times and have never seen this memorial. The morning was beautiful and the site was very peaceful.

It was very hot in Baltimore on this day. There were a lot of boats out today. One boat in particular seemed like it was taking on water because it was so low in the water but the the people on the boat seemed just fine.

The garden behind the US Botanic Garden is so very peaceful. It is a hidden gem which stays open a few hours after the inside garden is closed.

Roosevelt Island is a very peaceful location located between Georgetown and Rosslyn. After taking a ~1.25 mile walk around the island we visited the inner section where you can sit among the ponds in the peaceful inner area.
