My customer sponsored a field trip to the National Museum of the American Indian. On this day (Thanksgiving), which I thought was also called Indigenous People’s Day, but might be as the date is in October, I thought I would share a few of the images that we saw as we visited exhibits such as the Nation to Nation: Treaties Between the United States and American Indian Nations; and Robert Houle: Red Is Beautiful. There was one more exhibit regarding India names in advertising. The museum’s architecture is beautiful. At each step through the Nation to Nation exhibit, as I read more, I got madder and madder. I will not express all of my thoughts here but I will just say that their word was not their bond for one side of the treaty, in most cases.
