Walk Around the Block, 2023-06-25
We went out for a morning walk and I spotted a couple of beautiful clouds and leaves.

On the way to work we ran across the Dwight D. Eisenhower Memorial. I have driven down this street many times and have never seen this memorial. The morning was beautiful and the site was very peaceful.
2023-06-19 – Fort McHenry, Baltimore, MD
It was very hot in Baltimore on this day. There were a lot of boats out today. One boat in particular seemed like it was taking on water because it was so low in the water but the the people on the boat seemed just fine.
US Botanic Garden, Washington, DC, 2023-06-17
The garden behind the US Botanic Garden is so very peaceful. It is a hidden gem which stays open a few hours after the inside garden is closed.
Roosevelt Island, Washington, DC, 2023-06-17
Roosevelt Island is a very peaceful location located between Georgetown and Rosslyn. After taking a ~1.25 mile walk around the island we visited the inner section where you can sit among the ponds in the peaceful inner area.

We had a wonderful walk around The Mall in DC today. I took a few pictures of the curved upper floors of the National Museum of the American Indian. We saw a beautiful hawk in a tree. We stopped quickly at the Lock 10 of the C&O Canal. We didn’t walk far, but we did walk over to the water.
