National Zoo Finally

I finally got to the National Zoo yesterday after having a great lunch with my buddy at Clyde’s. During my visit to the zoo, I discovered that the zoo is on a hill on which you walk down and to get back to the gate on Connecticut Avenue you have to travel back up that hill. That’s ok on a hot summer day, but yesterday was freezing. I also discovered that Amazonia was not a friend to my camera with all of that heat and steam. 🙂 All of the animals seemed to like looking the other way, but I did get a few good shots. I have placed a few below. And yes, the last photo is Rusty, the famous escaped red panda. The whole album is located here.

My favorite picture.
