I didn’t have time today to create a block from scratch today but wanted to add two more resources to my list that Jonathan Bossenger provided when I told him what I wanted to do: create a block pattern for my RSVP webmention.

- Create a New Post
- Enter the content (blocks, text, etc.) for the pattern
- View the Code in the Code Editor
- Copy the Code
- Navigate to a Code Escaping Tool
- Escape the HTML to sanitize it, be careful of single and double quotes
- Copy the Code
- Create a Plugin
- Paste the Escaped Code into the Plugin into the newly defined function.
- Activate the Plugin
- Create a New Post
- Add a Block
- Select from the Patterns
- Update the Inserted Pattern
- If this is successful, I will create one to reply to a website post.
